The building was taken over by the Parish Church in the summer of 2002 as an extension of its work in the community. A local history exhibition has been housed there creating much interest, especially when accompanied by a welcome cup of tea. Staffed by local volunteers, it seeks to provide a relaxed atmosphere for people to meet and chat. It is also used as a charity base and local information point. Internet access is to be installed there soon and further developments are planned for the future.
